Your mission... should you choose to accept it...
Okay, it's totally optional, but does encourage incentive.
Bring an intense video clip to class and I'll put it up for everyone to see. It can be educational, inspirational, just class, high class. In my Opinion, The Piano Guys are awesome and their Mission Impossible Theme is terrific.

Week Four - CHALLENGES
WARNING! ! ! ! ! !
Tentative Date Shakespeare Fair:
SATURDAY
February 23, or February 16th.
INCENTIVE and OWNERSHIP
As we discussed in class, pre-scholars in other states, 12 and 13 years old, are typically utilizing 10 -15 hours a week to do their investigative work for Shakespeare Conquest. This could take the form of:
- Films
- Scripts
- 10 steps
- Memorization - Portia's speech
- Renaissance History
- Books - classics
- Internet searches - clothing, habits, hobbies.
You could interpolate this in your history, math, english, or science curricula.
Dallin, thanks for being such a good example of this when you gave great report on reverse psychology this week. Parents you could ask students about the scriptural reference on this.
Your mission -- should you choose to accept it--
Sorry, that is so last week...
The challenge this week is to discover within yourself a talent or interest from this course to explore in more depth. This could coincide with your other homeschool interests, then tell us about it in class.
You could discuss with your family the acting terms knitting and weaving and demonstrate. Have them watch for it in their tv/movie viewing.
You could also practice the stretch of emotions we discovered. Have everyone sit in front of the mirror and express different emotions. If you need a list, I have one.
Bonus QUIZ
from our Act 1, Scene II reading:
Petruchio comes to visit Padua for what reason.
How many other characters in Act 1 also want Petruchio to find success in Padua?
