Dallin Harper's Eagle Project

Hear Ye,  Hear Ye!

DALLIN HARPER's:  Community Service Opportunity

SAVE THE DATE

March 16, 2013, 1 p.m.

I would like to announce my Eagle Scout project at Shakespeare class.

Since last fall, I have been working on researching, designing, and planting an orchard for the Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma (1304 N Kenosha Ave, Tulsa).  So far, I have organized three major work days.  With the help of lots of volunteers, we have planted 12 juniper trees that serve as a windbreak to the orchard, dug over 200 feet of swales that will provide water harvesting for the orchard trees, and planted some of the fruit trees.

On Saturday, March 16th at 1 pm, we'll be completing the project (and the last of four major work days) when we plant the rest of the trees (around 40).  Most of the trees are fruit trees but about 10 of them are not fruit trees but will serve as protection to the fruit trees from the hot western sun.  I could certainly use the help of volunteers.

Thanks, Dallin Harper

Feb. 20 Challenge

This week as we finished class Sis. D. said, "BRING..."    Make sure you remember to bring a ________ this next week."

Can you remember what it was?

We had a great time today learning how to learn to FAKE IT TO BECOME IT.

This week you could take the challenge and tell everyone you know about this idea.  Pass it around.

Joshua did a great job informing us of this important concept.  If we could all know this, we would be much more successful.

Here is the Link for That Talk.

Thanks again Joshua.  That was awesome!

Our auditions went well.

You guys are awesome.

Please bring a bit of Shakespeare trivia to enlighten us.

Here is a hint for what to bring...

Check out our Video Bar at the Right

Your mission... should you choose to accept it...

Okay, it's totally optional, but does encourage incentive.

Bring an intense video clip to class and I'll put it up for everyone to see.  It can be educational, inspirational, just class, high class.      In my Opinion, The Piano Guys are awesome and their Mission Impossible Theme is terrific.
